Since 2004, about 200 teenagers already participated in the project project developed in this community. Beginning with soccer classes, in 2005 we decided to adopt a basketball project wich was already developed in the community.

The achievement of this project is supported by sponsorship of Belmetal company Solutions in Aluminium and through partnership with the Federal University of Bahia.

Currently, about 60 teenagers attend the basketball and education for citizenship classes three times a week.

In 2007, several participants of the project were called to take part of the Bahia Estate Basketball Team..
